Gatling Design, Inc. is an award winning firm offering comprehensive design services.  We provide custom design for both remodels and new construction with all necessary plans and detail drawings for contractor bids and construction.  We also provide selection and specifications of furniture, window coverings, rugs, lighting, art and color. 

We have worked in a variety of styles over the years including Craftsman, Mid- Century, Spanish Revival, Contemporary, Art Deco, Eclectic, and others. Our background and commitment to research enables us to make knowledgeable selections of furnishings, cabinetry, woodwork, and fabrics.  

Our broad experience allows us to tailor the design of your home to your individual tastes.  By melding your wishes, the architecture and the practical requirements of a modern home, we fashion a completely unique design for you.  Each project is different, just as each client is different. Kate Beccarelli has a BFA in Interior Design from Design Institute of San Diego. She is a Senior Designer and Project Manager having worked on a wide variety of homes over the years. She has worked for Gatling Design Inc for over ten years, gaining valuable experience in Interior Design and Residential Construction as well as special experience in Tile and Hard Surface Design, Color Selection, and Kitchen Design.

 

 

Richard Gatling graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with emphasis in art history and art studio, followed by 15 years of experience in high end furniture design and manufacturing. He then attended the Design Institute of San Diego studying Interior Design. He has further study in lighting design and color theory. He has a strong practical understanding of construction techniques and materials.
